Indian head massage can also help to improve your overall sense of wellbeing, which in turn may also help to lower blood pressure and relieve anxiety.
The relaxing affect of Indian head massage can have a positive effect on your sleep, by encouraging deeper, more restful sleep and helping to reduce insomnia.
Reduces back/neck pain
The massage and stretching techniques used during an Indian head massage help to reduce muscle stiffness. It relaxes the muscles in the neck, shoulders, head and back to alleviate tension in these areas, helping to reduce pain and improve joint mobility.
Where there is a build up of tension in the head, neck, shoulders and upper back, it can often lead to headaches or migraines. Similarly, when you are stressed this can also result in tension headaches. Indian head massage targets these areas, helping to reduce any muscle tension that could be causing the headaches, whilst the relaxing side of the massage will help to alleviate a tension headache. My client can have the option of massage oil being used.

The massage increases nourishment and oxygen to the scalp and hair follicle, which in turn stimulates hair growth. It detoxifies the body by stimulating lymphatic drainage, and blood flow to the neck, thus helping to remove waste products from the body.
